The project involved a volunteer from Germany and one volunteer from Ukraine. The main place of activity was Edith Stein House in Wrocław, where for 12 months varying intensity they helped in organizing activities for children, youth and meetings with artists. They visited lonely or disabled people living in Wroclaw, people with limited motion abilities. They also participated in events organized outside of the House like music and film workshops. These activities were related to the wider comprehension of culture and creativity, which guided mutual understanding, tolerance and cooperation. They had opportunities to exploring Wroclaw and participate in events. Volunteers lived in the Edith Stein House. Therefore it was possible to stay in constant contact with employees, co-workers of the House, Society. Thanks to the above, both sides learned how to cooperate and they developed mutual understanding. Concluding their stay, the volunteers expressed their satisfaction in participation in the project as well as acquired knowledge about Edith Stein and also from learning ways of projects organizing. Implementation of the project went smoothly, generally as outlined in the request for financial support. Financial settlements do not include travel expenses accross Wroclaw and costs associated with participation in creative workshops outside of Wroclaw.
