The title of the project was “Well-informed and experienced with the latest technology. Learning through the exchange of experiences and the confrontation of various points of view.” The aim of the project was to develop language skills of those involved in this project, as well as to master ICT skills through the usage of ICT tools and to improve cooperation between teachers. The main goal was to improve teaching standards by means of a greater access to information and an attractive way of broadening students’ knowledge with the use of ICT tools. All the objectives have been fulfilled while working on the project. The students worked on eTwinning site and in their lessons. They also took part in history lessons during which the emphasis was put on the usage of different sources of information coming from various countries and showing different aspects of the idea. Furthermore, the project participants had a chance to demonstrate all the acquired skills through the engagement in the course, mobility and cooperation with the partner institution. The headmistress was in charge of supervision of the project and observation of the management of the partner institution as well as three teachers. Two of those teachers conducted the classes in the partner school (history and English teachers) while one of them was just watching the lessons. Each of the teachers took part in all the project activities on eTwinnig site as well as gave open lessons in their own schools. All the project participants polished their English competency by means of the participation in courses and individual lessons that have been funded through the programme. The outcome of the project had a broad impact upon the participants and the institution, too. Teachers shared experiences in the field of methodology with other teachers. Moreover, the knowledge gained in the project have been applied during the e-learning courses and headmasters’ meetings as one of the project participants is a member of CEO in Warsaw. This organization carries out projects that promote the usage of ICT tools. The long term goal was to create a positive image of the school to encourage pupils from neighbouring cities to start their education in a school that provides high teaching standards.
