The aim of the project is to enrich our teachers with teaching methodology and expand their language proficiency so that our school in the school year 2014/2015 can fully implement a project teaching method which would be a suitable alternative to the so far prefered frontal teaching method and at the same time we would still be fulfilling the targets of The School Educational Program. Year-long activity will be focused on literary characters being a source of inspiration as well as a source of self-knowledge for pupils. It will take part not only during the language lessons; other subjects are planned to be involved too. According to this plan we intend to send selected teachers for trainings which would contribute to the realization of the project. On the basis of the course Practical Methodology for Teaching English and Using Literature in the Secondary Classroom Mrs Horníková will choose an appropriate literary heroes as an object of project teaching method. Miss Borská, who will complete a course Méthodologie et didactique (Projets de classe et Exploitation de documets authentiques), can provide the ideological processing of the project. Based on the course of Language and Methodology Miss Vočková will be overseeing the methodology of each activity and its efficient impact on the education of the pupils. Mr Niederhafner , the participant in course Technology for Teaching English , will use modern technology - both in the preparatory phase (helping teachers with using modern technologies) and in the phase of the project itself (using modern technologies by pupils).
