The project intends to set up a transnational network of organisations active in the archaeological field. It seeks to improve understanding of the requirements for, and capacity to provide, transparent qualifications for archaeologists across Europe. The project aims at both European and individual state levels to: identify barriers to entry to the profession; identify labour market information and trends; establish number of archaeologists; identify training needs; and provide information better to enable businesses to plan.
