Foreign practice of students of Business Academy Karvina, Ltd. will be held in Tartu in Estonia.
Participants of the internship programme are business academy students focused mainly on business management. During their internship students will work in large shopping centres.
Within their practice the students will learn how to handle the documentation necessary for the operation of the business centres and the documentation necessary for handling goods. They will become familiar with the operation and organization of work of the shopping centre.
They will also learn new business techniques and different methods of work; get to know different corporate strategy within the European dimension.
Students will learn how to solve job duties, how to accept responsibility, and hot to make independent decisions. Further they will gain confidence for better achievements on the labour market. They will learn to work individually as well as in the work team.
Another important benefit of the internship is that students will improve their language skills; they will realize the need for lifelong learning.
The project is focused on those students who come from weaker social and cultural family background and after graduation will look for employment opportunities.
Participation in the international internship programme will enhance students’ competitiveness, enhance their professional and personal potential, and increase their credit with employers, both in the national labour market as well as internationally.
Before starting the actual implementation of the internship the linguistic, cultural and professional preparation for the participants of the internship programme will take place.
The project reflects the demand of employers in the region, where employers need qualified employees that have professional and theoretical knowledge, who have foreign work experience and appropriate language skills.
Evaluation of the internship participants will be based upon pre-agreed units of learning within the European Credit System for Vocational Education (ECVET).
Representatives of both schools will reflect in preparations of the learning units their National Qualifications Framework and specific workplace policy.
The outputs of the internship programme are Europass - CV, Europass - Mobility and Certificate of Attendance.
Within the other projects outputs will be published internship presentations, photo book, articles on the Internet and regional newspaper articles.
