EVS projekt " Discover unlimited opportunities" will be held between 1.6.2015 and 1.10.2015 in Žetale. The main activities will take place from 1.7.2015 to 28.8.2015 during which we will be hosting three EVS volunteers. We will host three volunteers from Spain, Greece, Armenia and will organize this project with the purpose of activation, animation and motivation of youngsters, who in the NGO will be working in the field of internationa projects, invigorate the local events and encourage the educational-entrepeneurial ideas via intercultural learning and development of local potential. Their activities will be in the sphere of interpersonal mutual education with the local population in the field of culture, art, differend handcrafts and sport activities. Through this project we woud like to improve the opportunities for useful and active spending of leisure time of youngsters from the rural area. Doing this we will activate the youth and bring their activities close the activities of their peers from more urban areas. One of the main goals will be to use learning, self-initiative and resourcefuness in such socially weak and peripherial areas as well as using these strenghs to reach self employment and live a quality European life. Through creative workshops in the museum, interactive lectures, practical learning in the nature and socializing, the volunteers will help in the creation of conditions which will enable the youngsters and children from our area with easier and more efficient informal education as well as to understand the meaning and effects volunteer work has for the local area and the individual. The participants in the project will be able to develop, prepare and design ideas which afterwads they could start realizing, learn fom them and use them in different fields. We expect that the project will have positive effects on the social activities in our local area, will offer new opportunities and perspectives on opportunities for social inclusion of youngsters. A great number of younger and older population will be presented the work and opportunities for involving in European voluntary service as well as gaining experience and learning possibilities, meeting new people, cultures and working methods on the basis of EVS. The volunteers will become acquainted with the methods of work and experience of our organization, which we have gained through organizing and participating on different projects in Slovenia and abroad.
