The project "Discover Muddle East" is a bilateral project between eISA GmbH from Germany and East & West Center for Human Resources Development form Jordan. It is EVS project and involves two German volunteers who will spent 6 months in Jordan, starting September, 2015 to end of February, 2016.
The objectives of project are:
• To encourage intercultural dialogue between youth from Germany and Jordan;
• To develop cooperation between organizations from Middle East and Europe;
• To enhance youth mobility in Germany by providing European Voluntary Service in another country;
• To develop youth and children English skills in Palestinian refugee camp and poor areas near Amman.
Volunteers will teach English lessons and free time activities in the Palestinian refugee camps and poor areas near Amman. Volunteers will mainly work with children.
During the EVS period, volunteers will learn basic Arabic, discover Jordanian cultures and develop their personal and professional skills.
