We, Active Economists Youth Group from Kayseri, Turkey will organise a 6 days training course on Cultural Diversity under Action 4.3 Project in Youth in Action Programme. The main aim of our training course is to increase knowledge, skills and attitudes of youth workers on diversity and cultural diversity issues. We want to explore identities, culture, prejudice, stereotypes, intolerance. etc.We believe the value of diversity and we want to increase awareness of cultural diversity in local, regional, national and international level. So that is why we want to organise this training course. We will use non formal educational methods in our project. So participants will feel themselves in the project and they will learn by doing. Our target group is young people between 20-30 years old who are motivated to work on cultural diversity issues. We will give priority youngsters who come from disadvantaged background.It will take place in 22-28 September 2010 in Kayseri, Turkey with the partners from following countries: Greece, Slovenia, Lithuania, Italy, Poland, Romania . We will be 21 participants from 7 countries as well as 2 trainers and 2 support staff.
