In the project have participated two volunteers from two different countries. Belgium and Romania. For the selection of the volunteers, in addition to the criteria already set in the project, we tried to find people with training or interested to social matters and a special sensitivity to the issue of disability. The activities of the project were carried out in several work centres of the entity as well as in educational centres of consistent form to the aims raised in the project and with the purpose of its fulfilment. Part of the activities were carried out in two resources centres for people with disability belonging to COGAMI. During the first two weeks, the volunteers received a training course on disability (conceptual evolution, types, etc.) based on the current conception of this one and the W.H.O`s model, and they learn the philosophy of the organization: mission, vision and values of COGAMI, the objectives that the entity pursues, the structure and our know-how. In the resource centres, the volunteers participated in all the activities that took place in the centre continuously in direct relationship with users with disabilities. Group activities: - Adult training - Leather Workshop. - Bookbinding workshop. - Sewing workshop. Individual activities: - Occupational therapy. - Speech therapy. In addition, the volunteers participated in leisure activities conducted outside the centres and were able to design and conduct activities by themselves under the direct supervision of a professional. They took part in various awareness activities such as lectures in schools and empowering workshops for women with disabilities. Also participated in the activities organized by the National Agency.
