The proyect "Sociocultural Dynamization and Tourism" has carried out in the Council of O Pino, situated to the East of Santiago de Compostela (Galicia), being the municipality that possesses the last section of the French Way to Santiago de Compostela. From the Council of O Pino we have started this project, across which we have been employed actively at the development of a series tourist, cultural and social dynamization activities, that have favored the exchange of cultures and knowledge between both young participants of the SVE with our local population and with the pilgrims of the Way of Santiago. Our aim has been made the volunteers participants of the SVE in the area of the sociocultural dynamization and tourism of our municipality. The volunteers could have known our culture and our form of life, at the time that they have transmitted the population of O Pino the customs and cultural values of his native lands across the different activities. The principal aim has been of endowing the volunteers of resources in order that they were capable of taking part in the activities and initiatives, with which one has tried to promote the acquisition of his social skills and to promote the knowledge of the social reality and the culture of our municipality. The duration of the presented project has been 6 months. During this time the volunteers took part in the activities programmed in the office of tourism and in the sociocultural centers of our town hall and they have received to formation and the necessary support to be able to develop successfully her assignment. The principal tourist and cultural activities that volunteers have developed have been: - Information to pilgrims in the tourism office of our council. - They have rested to the monitors on the classes of conversation in English and German for the local population. - They have rested to the monitors on the Englishman's classes for children and for senior people. - They have rested to the monitors on the sports activities (badminton / athletics / skating) for children. - Aula Abierta: Classroom with playful activities for children: games, painting, etc. - Club of Friday: with playful activities for senior people of 50 years or more: dance, games, etc. - Translations of the tourist municipal information (German / Spanish/ English) - Participation in cultural events: Day of "Cogumelos", Day of "Voluntary Work". - Creation of a blog on the SVE. - Promotion of the SVE.
