Through the project was experienced an educational-training program for a sample of students from selected schools to help them to bridge the indifference and detachment from politics that seems to permeate a significant part of the younger generation.The project, with the collaboration of the Local Institutions, developed and implemented an educational path about democracy and participation which enhanced the knowledge and understanding of the meaning of active citizenship, to stimulate students, digital natives, to use ICT and social media as tools for an active participation in the civil society.Thanks to the project and the dissemination activities, in particular the web radio broadcasting and the blog, youth found new opportunities to tell the social dimension where they are living.Activities proposed were: view of movies, class discussions, team working on selected key-words, active participation in the preparation of broadcasts on web radio, different challenges on Instagram, active use of project's blog.Seeing the increasing contributions from the students on DN4D blog, it seems that they have been discovering new media as a relevant environment where to express and share ideas on democracy.
