The students of the “VasileLupu” Pedagogical High School benefit from a good pedagogical and specialty training over the four high school years and during the stages of professional practice. However, an insufficient training has been found in the field of using the new technologies of work on collaborative platforms, for several reasons: -the school curriculum for the teacher-preschool teacher specialty provides only one hour of TIC per week -98% of the students of the Pedagogical High School come from a poor, rural background and 60% of them have no computer and internet at home -a great part of our students live in our dorms, where there are no computers and no internet. Thus, one of the key competences, that of using the new technologies, can’t be sufficiently developed for the reasons stated above. In view of their professional training, but also of using the new technologies as didactic strategies in the teaching-learning process, in the context of the appearance and use of digital text books, the future teachers must have the opportunity to develop their competences in this field. A stage of 3 weeks in a company with specialists of using the web 2.0 means represents an excellent opportunity not only from the point of view of the formation, but also from that of the internationalization of education through transnational cooperation between education and the providers of formation. Thus, 22 students from the pedagogical profile, in the teacher-grade teacher specialty from the 10th and 11thforms will carry out this stage for 3 weeks in the alfatrainingBildungszentrum, Karlsruhe, Germany company. The objectives of the project are the following: 1.Developing the digital abilities and competences for work on the collaborative and electronic platforms, with a view to personal and professional development. 2.Working out, in a digital format, the teaching-learning-assessment contents and materials in the didactic activity according to the specific of the content. 3.Using the instruments of synchronic and asynchronic communication for online collaborations and for information exchange, with a view to communicate and collaborate with colleagues, parents and the community in order to stimulate students to learn. 4.Using TIC for the purpose of collecting and analyzing data as well as the purpose of communicating results. 5.Accumulating knowledge, developing skills and competences in using educational soft for an interactive learning and for simulations. 6.Developing the competence of communication in English 7.Developing competences in intercultural communication In order to fulfill these objectives, the students will perform the following activities: -they will get familiar with all types of collaborative platforms (Wiki, Moodle), will create a personal account, will access all functions -editing, adding of resources, adding of an activity, setting and editing a forum, using the glossary function to create and maintain a list of definitions, using a poll to obtain assessments, using the test option to create a test online, using the Wiki option and chat, and developing application from the perspective of the didactic process -interacting on platform by solving tests online, proposed by other colleagues -uploading various documents, didactic projects, tests, reports etc. on the platform -interacting by simulating a video conference -using the video sharing, Google Docs, Picasa Web Album, Prezi application instruments -creating a presentation with didactic content using the Prezi application -knowing and using the educational soft (types of softs: the exercise soft Drill and Practice, interactive softs for acquiring new knowledge, investigation softs, simulation softs, softs for testing knowledge) -creating the electronic portfolio by every beginner with the achieved documents Results: -students that have digitals skills and competences for work on collaborative platforms -students with abilities of integrating the new technologies in the strategies of teaching-learning-assessing in class, as future teachers -students with competences of working out the teaching-learning-assessment materials and contents in digital format -students with competences in using the synchronic and asynchronic instruments in order to collaborate online and to exchange information -students with knowledge of and competences in using the educational soft for interactive learning -students with competences in communication in English -students with competences in intercultural communication The results will be used in the stage of teaching practice that will take place habitually on their return to school or in their job as teachers. The development of digital competences will allow them to create active strategies of teaching-learning in class, but also to be better integrated in the local and European work market.
