ASSED Suceava has implemented the project entitled Sustainable Development through Continuous Education and Volunteering, developed from the need to respond to the needs identified by the authorized Vocational Training Centre from ASSED organization. The steps taken as part of the project contribute to achieving the strategic target of the organization, that of becoming a strong community Centre for continuous education, which should hold consulting activities, training courses, high quality evaluation, volunteering and cultural activities. ASSED, the applicant organization, by means of its project management team has provided an efficient administration and attended to its administrative and financial management. Its partner organizations “d.kommer business development & intercultural personnel development” Vienna – European organization offering consulting services in human resources management, professional training, guidance and coaching, organizational management and marketing and “GEROS ONLUS” Cagliari, Italy, a non profit organization with a vast experience in research and in training experts in the field of exact sciences, organizations which provided high qualify professional training courses in line with the objectives of our project. The project was programmed on a period of 2 years and planned for 8 inflows of three persons each, thus a target group of 24 persons in total. Four inflows have been approved, meaning that a target group of 12 persons benefited from professional training mobility.The overall objective was to train resource persons by means of the mobility activities in the fields of action identified in the PDE, necessary to create networks of counsellors, trainers and expert assessors who could ensure quality of training and improve employability. The specific objectives were the following:1.Improve skills in the fields of action (counselling, marketing, integrating the Information and Communication Technology in training) for the members of the target group; 2.Increase the quality of training services by developing partnership and internationalization;3.Improve linguistic and cultural competence.The mobility participants were represented by 12 persons holding a bachelor’s degree, ASSED members, open-minded persons who are willing to engage in volunteering activities, competent users of English, with good communication and teamwork skills and also proficient computer skills. These persons have been selected based on a procedure in compliance with the principle of equal opportunities. The project activities were the following:1.Mobility preparation activities: we concluded the agreement with AN; a settlement decision was instituted regarding the project team and we established the responsibilities; we drawn up procedures, we negotiated and concluded agreements with the training suppliers, selected the target group, signed financial agreements and prepared the target group. 2.The mobility activities were carried out in the period from 27.07.2015 to 24.01.2016 and were organized into 4 inflows on a period of 7 days for each inflow, on fields of activities.Carrier counselling aimed at: improving counselling techniques using coaching; Marketing and fund raising aimed at: improving marketing knowledge, drawing up a media plan and organizing a fund raising campaign with private and public donors at NGOs; integrating the Information and Communication Technology in the training process, aimed at: introducing innovative methods and techniques in order to integrate ICT in training. Training activities ended with final evaluation sessions, all the participants being awarded their EUROPASS MOBILITY certificates attesting the skills acquired.3.The activities carried out after the mobility were the following: dissemination of results; providing financial management; drawing up course books; reports. All legal provisions have been complied with, the project administration team observed the procedures and all the parties involved complied with the agreements and contracts. Results and impact – Taking part in the mobility contributes to the professionalisation of the personnel involved in the training activities aimed at establishing networks of experts in training in the fields of action identified in PDE;drawing up the course books necessary to carry out the training courses with the teachers/trainers that provided sustainability; increasing the quality of training processes;improving linguistic and cultural competency; building trust, self-esteem and motivation;the opportunity for new European cooperation partnerships. Long-term beneficiaries: we will establish networks of experts as part of ASSED, who will be potential trainers involved in the activities of the network. The training centre will benefit from the expertise and experience acquired as a result of the mobility sessions. The adults involved in the training process will take part in more attractive courses.
