“Development through Cooperation” is a 7 days seminar on 14-20 May 2016 for 30 young people youth workers from 8 different counties, both from Programme; Romania, Italy, Slovakia and Turkey & Neighbourhood countries; Jordan, Ukraine, Bosnia& Herzegovina and Palestine under Key Action 1 (KA1): Learning Mobility of Individuals, Mobility of Youth Workers. This year is called European year for Development 2015. The EU is the biggest donor of the official development assistance (ODA) in the world. The European Year of Development 2015 is a key opportunity to raise awareness of development across Europe. Turkey’s development programme is ambitious and expanding. Turkey became an important actor with its development co-operation in the last years. The main aim of the project is to increase youth workers’ knowledge, skills and attitudes on development issues. Our target group is youth workers who were involved some development projects before and who are interested and motivated to work on development issues and will be able to act as multipliers after the seminar. Topics we will deal in the seminar are development, international development, development policy Priorities, International development dialogue, Millennium Development Goals.The seminar was planned based on non formal education methods. We aim to have different kind of partners in this project from different experiences, and backgrounds. Every partner organisation will make a presentation of their best practices about development projects they involved. The project will be great opportunity to enhance exchange, partnership.
