The project creates a sound basis for tourismdevelopment in border river Memele (LV)/Nemunėlis (LT) area that contributes to thesocial and economical welfare of localinhabitants.The main project outcomes are established2 tourism competence centres, developedjoint tourism strategy and database oftourism objects, installed sightseeing andrecreation areas along the river, developedjoint tourism routes as well as organizedworkshops and mutual visits of tourism guidesand rural entrepreneurs.
