The project included the construction of 4 production halls, related marketing activities, training and the promotion of business incubator activities. A training program for SMEs from the partner region of Croatia on business after EU accession was delivered in the incubator. An investors conference was also organized, introducing the participants to services provided by the business incubators of Beli Manastir and Mohacs, as well as with general investment information on the region. The project goals were to develop a business infrastructure in the region to help economic harmonization of the cross-border region, improve information flow and enable the exchange of practical experience. Achievements: The Business Incubator of Mohacs expanded with the inclusion of 4 new production halls, covering an area of 1504 sq. meters a 12 business premises. Within two years of construction, 3 more companies joined the previous 8 companies, creating 10 more jobs. The success and acceptance of the project apart from the achieve a space expansion were promoted by an investment conference, multi-language informational material and continuously updated web-pages. The project also resulted in greater cooperation between companies operating within the business-logistics parks of Beli Manastir and Mohacs.
