The more co-operation in the group, the more chance for business among the participants. The general objective of the project is strengthening the social and economic cohesion of the border area through the support of the cross-border business cooperation. The project's direct beneficiaries are the companies who take part in the workshops and contribute to the project implementation by their activities: 15-15 enterprises from both sides of the border, and the employees of the project partners. The main target group is the SMEs of Hajdú-Bihar and Bihor counties. Their managers and owners usually have incomplete general management skills and they are on lack of knowledge on specialized fields. They often do not have competent staff and they do not use the existing advisory services. They are lack of the modern management skills and the knowledge on marketing, finances or environmental issues that is necessary for the growth of the companies.Often the technical and scientific know-how are not coupled with management skill, the marketing approach is missing. Besides, public education usually does not provide practical economical knowledge, and most SME managers do not have university degree. The project is to promote the development of the SMEs, to expand their entrepreneurial knowledge, and to establishing network and cross-border co-operations among them.
