The project aims to cover existing gap in knowledge about environment protection and in particular on the principles of the new REACH regulation (Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals) which will be applied from 2007. The project intends to develop training materials on REACH and methodologies regarding REACH implementation at companies and continuous training of teachers and trainers. The training materials will be developed and transferred to the representatives of target group organisations through train-the-trainer courses. The target groups of the project are trainers, teachers on environmental and chemical issues including those representing manufacturers, importers-traders and users of chemicals. The focus is on 4 new Member States where environment is a particularly sensitive issue.
