Basing on the recent modifications of labour market trends, especially after accession to EU, and changes in the systems and management of vocational educational institutions demanding more specific specializations, improvement of training programmes ensuring competitive graduates in tense economic conditions, The Council of the Euroregion „Country of lakes” decided to develop a project for establishment of cooperation platform between LV Achievements: Improved study infrastructure (equipment and study materials) for 5 vocational schools in Latvia and 2 in Lithuania.Min. 207 students as the new labour force will have the special and more qualified professional capacity. Vocational educational network with the participation of 5 LV vocational schools and 2 LT vocational schools created. Guidelines for mentors worked out. Data base on field practices possibilities will be elaborated in cooperation with entrepreneurships offering field practices for students abroad.
