''Developing Competences for Enhancing Social Inclusion- DCESI'' training course will gather 25 youth workers (20 + y.o) including organizers (and trainers’ team) from different organizations based in EU (Romania, Cyprus, Estonia, Malta, Turkey, Poland, Spain) with the aim to enforce the sense of social inclusion, international cooperation for development, creativity and effective youth participation. We will work using Non formal learning approaches, sharing of experiences and learning by doing methods (simulations, role plays, reflection, round table and case problem solving). “''Developing Competences for Enhancing Social Inclusion- DCESI'' project is a shared project idea among 7 partner organizations. The main idea came as a result of two years discussions with relevant to the youth field stakeholders, project managers' reflections, interviews from youth workers and youths and analysis of results and impact from other TC under YiA and E+. Youth workers who admit the need to develop further their key competences on how to deal more effectively with youngsters who live in unemployment, inactivity, indifference, do not respect the diversity and have low self esteem. Looking through the reasons to these issues they came to the conclusion that there is a serious need of work on social inclusion policy and practice within our organizations. Our youthworkers mention the need they face to improve their practice and enrich their methods in order to face such challenges in their field. Therefore special attention shall be given to the improvement of the social inclusion awareness and the development of key competences in order to develop our youthworkers being more competent on professional and personal level. Thus through this project we will assist youthworkers to support youngsters to be more active citizens in a socially inclusive framework. Objectives about:1. To increase awareness on the importance of the implementation of social inclusion practices in the youthwork.2. To promote and indicate the importance of NFL as an important tool for enhancing creativity and social inclusion (in local, national and european society);3. To share and suggest practices of social inclusion and equity through the implementation of NFL;4. To develop participants social competence and awareness through experiential learning;5. To improve the level of key competences and skills, with particular regard to their relevance for the personal and professional development (digital, creativity, entrepreneurial, languages)6. To help participants to be more aware of the value of Erasmus +: Youth in Action program;7. To help participants acquire high-quality Youthpass Certificates;8. To create new future cooperation and increase the visibility of the results of Erasmus+;The project will bring closer countries of EU, mix city life with country side life and foster the sharing of new ideas to local communities. and the region so it will foster the European integration. The several project activities, open evenings and the presentation/demonstration day will bring closer the foreign youngsters and the local community, and this will develop the openness of the settlement.Youth workers will be aware, through experiential learning and sharing of experiences, about the international practices on social inclusion, on the improvement of key competences and on practices for promoting a person's initiative and active participation Thus, they will be more competent and confident to support youngsters back to their own organizations to turn themselves into active citizens and increase their self esteem for a more inclusive society. The expected impact of the TC for participating organizations is that the participating youth workers through the process of NFL will gain information about the benefits of participation of the young people in E+ programmes and in the EU in general. They will work as multipliers of new experiences and will transfer this info back to their own organizations.About the project results we aim to disseminate the successes and results of the course and to achieve their exploitation in order to influence positively and increase awareness on the topics and opportunities of E+ to other NGOs, youth workers, young entrepreneurs and young people who need to be inspired in order to push themselves into more active and positive participation in society. Also we aim to contribute at any level possible to the implementation and shaping of national and European policies and systems regarding the opportunities for improving basic competences, enhancing social inclusion and supporting young entrepreneurs.
