PROJECT
FINISHED
As part of Teigars work with its development plan 2014-17 we find it useful to work on the focused topics in an international context.
By interacting with the Turkish school we expect to get and give information, exchange views and perspectives and learn along the way.
The following focus topics comes from the development plan (and will be at the heart of the project):
- Mathematics
- Digital competence,
- Better school- and learning environment (fex. prevent school leaving)
- Assessments
- Special needs education and adapted education
Both teachers and administrators will take part in the project group.
The first phase will be preparations for the "action". Ingredients here will be handing out tasks and responsibility, preparing on the specific topics etc.
The next phase will be the "action" itself. The project group will visit Ankara in accordance with the (preliminary) program listed in the application. Typically different themes will be dealt with nearly every day.
After the "action" the project group contribute to diffusion of the learning and outcomes.
Last, but not least, the project will be evaluated by the project group, and the results will be measured against the goals in Teigars development plan.
The fact that the Head teacher Mrs Mona Wærland will join in the project is an indicator that the school will engage in the project in a professional way.
Deputy Head teacher Ragnar Ytrehus will be responsible for the project at Teigar.
