The project „Develop Your Skills through Volunteering!“ purpose to organize free time activities for the chosen target group. During EVS the volunteers will organize the activities at their hosting organizations (Nevalstybinis vaikų darželis “Nendrė”, Vilnius SOS children's village, SOS Children's Village Association of Lithuania) and assist in attending events outside the village (in Vilnius city). During EVS the main tasks for the volunteers will be organizing the activities: creative work, sport activities, games, excursions, festivals, other events and during school holidays assistance for educators in organizing other activities or camps. Also the volunteers could help youngsters to improve their knowledge of foreign language, to represent volunteers‘ countries, culturies, ideas of volunteering, common activities (dancing, singing, cooking evenings and such), taking part in events, assistance in organizing them and preparing for them, to some of youngsters simply playing a role of an older friend. 5 sending organizations from 5 different countries are taking part in this project: 1. Volunteers Centre Skopje (Macedonia), 2. Gwenilli rencontres et echanges intercultureles (Prancūzija); 3. Fundacion Paideia (Spain); 4. Centro Servizi per volontariato della provincia di Varese (Italy); 5. Asociatia YMCA Baia Mare (Romania). Each organization will send 1 volunteer to this project and the each volunteer will make 12 months EVS.
