DearsNet is a transnational network which will primarily seek to enhance the skills and competences of teachers and trainers in the sectors of agriculture and rural development within the context of lifelong learning. Through already existing networks and in this new extended partnership, the project will promote new and more innovative approaches and best practice in these sectors. Best practice and exchange of material will be enabled through ICT and multimedia tools. Working groups created within the network will update continuously state of the art needs towards teaching in agriculture and rural development. A European resource centre will be created to ensure the durable integration and sustainability of this network throughout the partnership and beyond; this centre will have the task to update its resources (books, manuals, procedure etc.) in the course of future years and also disseminate knowledge, best practice and innovation in the transfer of training methods and procedures.
