Our project "from the Atlantic to the North Sea and the Mediterranean" is our 4th mobility project funded by the European Union. While we organize sending youth internship in Belgium for 3 years, we have chosen this year to open our partnership to a new country, Malta. Our project plans to send 24 youth terminal Bac Pro Services For The People and Territories: 20 students in Belgium (half in Dinant, half in Brussels) and 4 students in Malta. These young people will have 17-21 years at the time of departure, they need to be awake on the European Union and European citizenship, finding a member state and its culture and compare their professional practices. This project should also encourage them to be mobile, be aware of their skills and breaking down prejudices they may have about Belgium. With the opening to an English speaking country, students will improve their English. The opening of the school on two European countries is expected to strengthen the vision of the European Union the entire property. For 4 years, we registered in a professional open approach in Belgium to help meet the needs of students and service facilities to people of our territory. Thanks to the strong partnership with our Belgian counterparts: high school Notre Dame de Bellevue and training structures, we offer students complete four weeks of internship in different institutions located in Dinant and Brussels. Following a preparatory visit in October 2015, 4 students also leave four weeks internship in Malta in a crib and a retirement home. The different stages of the project: contacts with partners, information and preparation of participants, organization of visits and evaluation and dissemination are managed in a team with the help of external stakeholders and our Belgian and Maltese counterparts.Six objectives have been identified for participants and three for high school and his team. Among them: "develop technical expertise from users", "Gain autonomy within another territory in Europe and adapt", "Take a step back and develop critical thinking" or " Develop an enhanced training where the opening and European mobility are part of the training "At the end of the project, we will take an impact assessment, they achieved our objectives? They want students to continue their education? Is their career valued? Are they more open and aware of their European citizenship? This project will allow us to achieve a 4th experience in Belgium and a first experience in Malta. Our students will discover new business practices, new cultures and come back more independent and confident. For the institution, this project will strengthen existing partnerships in Belgium and will strengthen the partnership with the Maltese structures. It will make visible the opening process and the actions taken by the school. Teachers will deepen their knowledge of occupational needs for the long term, the activities carried out make our youth more competitive in the labor market and enable our institution to participate in other projects in Europe.
