The Mobility Programme is submitted by IES Manuel Martín González, educational centre located in the municipality of Guia de Isora, Tenerife. The aim of the programme is the realization of an internship in different companies by the students and teachers within the context of the European Union. In this setting, it is pursued the development of the linguistic abilities, as well as the social abilities for a better integration of the pupils in a globalized labour market. At the same time, the teachers, according to the Lifelong Learning initiative, would make up and exchange proposals and ideas with other educators and professionals from other European countries. It is required the participation of 12 pupils and 3 teachers in this mobility programme to two countries of the EU: Germany. These students are attending the last year of their Vocational Training studies and the teachers are ascribed in the educational centre. The relevant organizational and informative activities will be carried out in order to involve the participants in the home centre as well as in the receiving entities. It is sought to encourage the communication skills in between the team members of this mobility programme, providing exchanging tools of knowledge and experience. Trough this project, it is pursued the realization of the FCT subject as well as the integration of the students in the labour market of the receiving country. Moreover, the project will facilitate the development of the linguistic competencies of the participants. A project of these characteristics will highly affect the municipality in which the educational centre is situated as it will encourage the exchange of contacts and ideas within the community members, facilitating a broader context in a preeminent rural area.
