The Foundation San Cebrián works towards the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities and their families, so the project has a marked social character. The activities of the volunteer have a duration of 6 months (from 11/03/2014 until 05/02/2015). Voluntary work has consisted mainly in supporting the daily activities that take place in one of the workshops Day Centre of the Institution in the town of San Cebrián de Campos, in particular in one of the creativity workshops (workshop bike). The main objectives of this project were from the personal enrichment of all those involved in the (voluntary, people with disabilities and professionals) to make known our approach to work and training for voluntary participant, through an approach and international contacts Foundation facing the possible organization of other activities. Clear results have been achieved in skills related to: - Communicating in another language - The acquisition of social and civic competences - Sense of initiative of voluntary - Work skills both on an individual level but above all teamwork. - Skills related to tolerance and respect.
