The project intends to experiment with forms of public transport integration times establish a coordinated network and omoegnea border. The initiative, which fits coherently within a broader strategic plan interesting mobility overall Swiss-Italian Alpine range, intends to implement forms of coordination of public transport system between the province of Sondrio, Brescia and the Upper Engadine (Canton Graubünden), acting both on the level of services than on communication. The project aims to initiate a scheduling coordination of transport services (especially in the nodes interchange of Tirano and Chiavenna / Colico), an integration of tariffs and the creation of new connections, and the purchase of two buses in limited pollutant emissions, improvement quality of rolling stock (trains dedicated to the Valtellina); modest infrastructure investments to improve the exchange of Polo Tirano. / Il progetto intende sperimentare forme di integrazione del trasporto pubblico volte a costituire una rete coordinata ed omoegnea transfrontaliera. L'iniziativa, che si inserisce coerentemente nell'ambito di un piu vasto progetto strategico interessante la mobilita complessiva della fascia alpina italo-svizzera, intende attuare forme di coordinamento del sistema di trasporto pubblico tra la provincia di Sondrio, Brescia e l'Engadina Alta (Cantone dei Grigioni), intervenendo sia sul piano dei servizi che sulla comunicazione. Il progetto intende dare avvio ad un coordinamento degli orari dei servizi di trasporto (soprattutto nei nodi di interscambio di Tirano e Chiavenna/Colico), ad una integrazione delle tariffe e alla creazione di nuovi collegamenti; l'acquisto di due autobus a limitate emissioni inquinanti; miglioramento qualitativo del materiale rotabile (treni dedicati alla Valtellina); modesti investimenti strutturali per il migliorare il Polo scambio di Tirano. Achievements: The project was about restructuring of the railway station in Tirano (Sondrio) by the creation of an underpass and a ticket office for the garage, managed by the partner "Automobilistica Perego". In addition it enabled to cover half of the costs of a bus intended to link Tirano, Aprica and Edolo with the purpose to create a connection between the Swiss mountains and the surrounding area of Brescia. Moreover it covered the costs of renewing six carriages on the Milano - Tirano rail line.
