This project will take advantage and develop the strengths in the two municipalities in the sphere of culture by trying to cover the needs and cope with constraints from the above analysis according to the following strategy: The common cultural heritage Achievements: 1. Improved outdoor infrastructure in the open area between the Cultural Centers Okoliyskata kashta and Dzhamiqta (The Mosque) in Dupnitsa and organization of open space for innovative cultural happenings: established newly renovated complex between both Cultural Centers;2. Improved environment of the Cultural Centers Okoliyskata kashta and Dzhamiyata (The Mosque) in Dupnitsa through refurbishment and ensuring appropriate air conditioning in the Cultural Centre Okoliyskata kashta; ensuring a proper air conditioning in the Cultural Centre Dzhamiyata (The Mosque); inner repair activities;3. Supply of equipment for improvement of quality of the cultural happenings in Dupnitsa /sound system, multimedia, professional camera, printer and air-conditioning / for ensuring appropriate music environment, making performances, speeches, pictures, printing information bulletins promoting cultural happenings;4. Established Centre for Cultural and Historical Heritage (CCHH) in Kriva Palanka: renovated and adapted premises of the Old Army house in Kriva Palanka as a completed CCHH through construction craftsmanship work - ground floor; ground decoration of the children’s playground and recreation with a fountain; inner repair activities;5. Supply of specialized equipment for the CCHH in Kriva Palanka: exhibition cases for dolls, photo-documentary materials, metal exhibits, handicraft products, historical documents; archive cases for historical documents and materials, audio and video materials; cases for science library and conservation materials; working desk; chairs; exhibition dolls; personal computer; copy machine; scanner; system for video observation; alarm, air condition and fire prevention system;6. Organized joint cultural workshop for students “Revival of Handicrafts” in Dupnitsa. Students trained in old Bulgarian handicrafts and the results of their work were arranged in exposition in Okoliyskata kashta – Dupnitsa and Kriva Palanka;7. Increased awareness of the people through realization of the following activities and measures: realized joint exhibition of hand made handicrafts souvenirs from students - in Dupnitsa and Kriva Palanka; issued brochures, "Handicraft souvenir guidelines", promotional video and DVD clip; elaborated broshure for popularization of the CCHH; elaborated book on the handicrafts of the Kriva Palanka-Dupnitsa Region. The project has been successfully accomplished in 01.2013.
