One volunteer - Ana Furlan - from Slovenia will take part in the project “Cultural Exchange ”, which will take place in Petrozavodsk, Republic of Karelia, Russia, during 9 months.The main aim of the activity is creating opportunities for children, young and adult people to meet people from other countries for learning more about their cultures on first hand basis, providing the opportunity to get acquainted with a new foreign language or to practice foreign languages.The project includes an educational component, creative, and also carries an important social function. The project contributes to the well-established international dialogue allows participants to discover other cultures and interesting people from different countries.The project is also an opportunity to implement her own projects volunteer - we encourage any initiative and fresh ideas and help bring them to life.The project allows volunteer to develop her language skills, develop different foreign languages, which is facilitated by experienced teachers. At the same time, the volunteer will be able to share her knowledge with the local community, has work to acquaint with their culture, traditions and customs.There will also be an opportunity to volunteer deeply acquainted with the peculiarities of the "mysterious Russian soul" feel like a resident of Russia and immerse yourself in the local culture.The project is an excellent opportunity for volunteer to develop her creative skills by working with youth and children and organizing different activities: making quiz, language workshops, cooking shows, photocross, days of national games and much more.
