Accessible culture for all: culture binds European youth with less opportunities. The project aims to involve young people, aged 16 to19 years in a non-formal education programme in order to make them promoters of the cultural and natural heritage both locally and regionally of their territory. The curiosity and interest of the youngster in their cultural resources, together with the awareness of the historical value of the area in which they live and together with the intercultural exchange, will help them to perceive themselves as European citizens and as actors in a common work of cultural ambassadors. The project has a strong inclusive dimension, involves young people some of them attending to schools with a vocational program addressed to culture and tourism and some of them disadvantaged or NEET with the need to be included at social, professional and economical level and some will be disabled. Each of the 4 groups will be composed of 15 people half of them disadvantaged. The planned activities involves the youth delegations in welcome each other, organise and lead cultural site visits, participate in sporting and naturalistic activities, be active in creativity, communication in a foreign language, integration, teamwork, production of personal diary of the trip, production and collection of photographs, texts and video, produce a final cultural guide. The methodological approach is focused on non-formal, intercultural dialogue using English as a common language to express and present themes, realistic simulation of professional situations, integration and engaging activities for people with fewer opportunities, the use of new technologies and processing of communications products via the web. The project will allow the participants to acquire or strengthen a series of formal and non-formal skills employable in the labour market: to deepen cultural knowledge (on local history and art) and environmental knowledge of the visited places; specific skills related to cultural tourism (planning and realization of cultural routes accessible to all); useful knowledge of the regulatory and legal environment; communication skills, emotional-relational skills and organizational skills; improved competence in using English as communication language and in using ICT and the web.
