Cross perspectives on exile

The project will focus on one of the most important issues of our society: migrations and exile. The participants will be young people, 16 to 20 years old, and through the project we will try to provide them with wider and more diverse views on the subject. Immigration has impacted widely on European societies, and will continue to do so. Europe has diversified culturally. This has led to the development of new forms of dealing with discrimination, social exclusion, racism and xenophobia. The project represents an opportunity for students and teachers in participating countries to collaborate and communicate in order to develop the knowledge and understanding of the differences between our cultures and to place a greater value on diversity. The main goals of our project are: -To develop more tolerance and respect that each culture deserves in the new European context, -to awake the public opinion on the fact that insocial tegration of migrant communities, mostly reveal an ethnicized discourse about social problems. -And so to fight racism and xenophobia and discrimination. Also, we aim at enhancing the European dimension by promoting knowledge of different cultures, practice of foreign languages, co-operation and mobility.
