Start date: Jul 1, 2016, End date: Jun 30, 2018 PROJECT  FINISHED

1.- OUR CONTEXT, GOALS AND AIMS INVOLVED IN THE PROJECT.Our school is placed in a historical Palace of the Renaissance period. We are pleased to welcome an average of 1200 students distributed in numerous programmes which embrace both formal and non formal education. Our staff belongs to the Local Administration of the Council of Alaquàs and to the Regional Administration of Generalitat Valenciana. On one hand, our main goal is placed within the main frame of the internationalisation of our organisation, dissemination of good practices and new perspectives on our teacher's skills. On the other hand we also want to promote equality of oportunities, enhance job oportunities and definititely, educate adults. To achieve these objectives, our selection of courses has been grouped into three sections: special needs, school drop-out and life long learning.2.- NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS. PROFILEThere is a total number of 9 participants involved. Each of them work in a certain area of our school, so that all the organisation is involved in the project and any part of our range of educational activities has been left aside. All participants have enroled in the project on a voluntary basis and have participated in all the process (early stages, training, development of our EDP) throgh group work. The criteria to choose the candidates has been designed on a document in terms of objectivity and transparency and all participants have agreed on the contents of this written document.3.- MAIN ACTIVITIES:Our project lasts for 24 months and it is distributed into three parts in which all activities have been placed according to a closed schedule. These three stages are: special needs, school drop-out and life long learning. The work schedule has been divided into 11 stages: 1. previous preparation, 2. selection of candidates, 3. preparation of the candidates, 4.- attendance to the courses, 5. intermediate assesment and dissemination of results, 6. short courses on the dissemination of results, 7,8,9,10. repetition of stages 3,4,5 and 6 and finally stage 11, final results assessment.4.- RESULTSThe activities selected are expected to have a great impact on the participants's skills and habilities in the same way that a great impact is expected on the organisation, our community and the regional context in which our task is developed. This impact will be measured on both quantitative and qualitative basis, before, during and after the development of the project.5.- LONG-TERM BENEFITSWe hope to decrease the number of school drop-outs which is a handicap in Adult Education. We also wish to get students involved in K2 action, to create strategic partnerships, to design new materials and study the option to opt for a prize in educational innovation. As a result of our participation in these activities we will be able to consolidate a methodological change which we have already iniciated and hopefully will bring excellence to the way we work and will benefit the whole community. It is also essential to meet the targets of the ET 2020.
