Creativity and innovation: pedagogical framework for the LEARning chain
Start date: Mar 1, 2012,
The project CLEAR Creativity and Innovation: pedagogical framework for the Learning Chain aims at improving the way lifelong learning strategies are realised, by designing a pedagogical framework so as to raise awareness on the primary importance that creativity has for empowering individuals and transferring and developing innovations in organisations. This finality has a cultural perspective, since it aims at changing the attitude of policy makers towards creativity: in fact, creativity may be of decisive help in supporting learning systems, the business community and education providers to take EU society out of the long lasting downturn. CLEAR will be realised by a consortium of 7 bodies, which are active in the education and training sector. Some of the organisations are public administrations and are responsible for planning policies related to the development of social and human capital; some others are linked to the business environment and are active in developing interventions to enhance the capacity to innovate of enterprises. Some others are research centres or universities and have experiences in improving the relationship between the research world and the business environment. Finally, there are two already operative networks, which are active in the fields of higher education and university and vocational and educational training. As for the work plan, first an in-depth analysis of partner regions’ positioning with reference to creativity innovation and lifelong learning will be carried out. The analysis will bring out existing policies, services and actors. The investigation will then analyse local practices related to three sectors of the learning chain: scientific and technology academic education, post academic, non academic higher education, continuous training. A comprehensive programme of exploitation and dissemination actions, using both face to face and on-line communication modalities, will support the valorisation of results produced.
