CREATIVE ME
Start date: May 20, 2016, End date: Oct 19, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

The project "CREATIVE ME" is meant for 13-18 olds for getting to know themselves better, also improving their communication skills and self-esteem as well as understanding cultural differences and tolerance. The actions are planned and managed by the youth for the youth and are interactive, educational and fun. Many of the participating young people have their first chance of getting to know someone their age but from totally different cultural background, so it will enhance tolerance and understanding of cultural differences. It is very important as todays youth are tomorrows leaders and decision-makers, also it is very common to have international co-workers nowadays, so young people need to create the understanding and tolerance for other cultures.Partnering countries are Estonia, Latvia, Greece and Romania. Every country will prepare workshops for other young people on the themes „Creativity“,“Peace within myself“,“Inside me“, „My future“ during one day at the youthexchange. In the evenings each country has to introduce their culture, food and other original things to the other participants. So everyone will get a good experience in organizing a good cultural evening and also learn each-others culture. There will be an APV meeting in the beginning of June in Viljandi, Estonia where we expect 2 persons from each partnering country to plan the exact methods each country is going to use during their day so that it will all form a good whole youth exchange week. The main youth exchange takes place on 21.-27.08.2016 in Venevere recreation centre in Viljandi County, Estonia which is a lovely place in the beautiful nature that has very good facilities for this kind of youth events. 9 young people and 1 group leader from each partnering country is expected, so altogether there will be 40 participants.
