On the base of the new legislative for higher education in R. Macedonia, R. Croatia and Kosovo and the Bologna Declaration, new regulation and procedures for Ph.D. studies as well as new curricula for the third cycle of studies-doctoral studies in the field of metrology will be created. It will be a multi-country project with participation of R. Macedonia, R. Croatia and Kosovo for further introduction of joint doctoral degree in metrology. This reform will be accomplished by the experience and the help of the European universities. In the project two universities from R. Macedonia (Ss. Cyril & Methodius University-Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies, Skopje and South-Eastern European University, Tetovo), two universities from R. Croatia (University of Zagreb-Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing and University of Split) and one university from Kosovo (University of Prishtina) will participate.Objectives:- Harmonisation of the studies in metrology in three cycle degree system according to Bologna process.- Creation of Ph.D. studies in metrology at beneficiary universities.- Creation of app. 10 new courses and modernisation of the existing once.- Upgrading of laboratories' capacities to offer practical training to Ph.D. students in metrology.- Establishment of joint Ph. D. degree in metrology among the beneficiary universities.- Transfer of knowledge and experience in the area of metrology.- Enrollment and education of new Ph.D. students in metrology.Project implementation: in the first and second the PhD. Study programme in metrology will be created. From the middle of the second project year the teaching process of the PhD studies in metrology will be implemented.
