Increase the safety of inhabitans and protection of nature in border regions by development of informatization and IKT for needs of firemans and rescue forces on both sides of border with connection on other states and their integrated rescue systems Achievements: Co Fire and Rescue Slovakia and the Czech Republic is a long and runs continuously. Implementation of the project has improved the long-term cross-border relations, deepening of economic ties and working partners. The project carried out joint training and seminars where partners exchanged experiences and knowledge from practice. It was introduced new multimedia technology that enables on-line communication, data, video and audio transmission of information with the possibility of projection. New technical equipment will ensure the transmission of information in responding to various events in the border area, it is thus possible to use for exercises and other training. Introduction of a system to facilitate the localization of encroaching fire brigade in the border area, which also has an indirect bearing on the effective implementation of the intervention, to strengthen the protection of life, property and the environment.
