Youth Centre Villa Elba organizes a study visit in Kokkola 9-14.10.2016. This study visit gathers 16 actors in the field of youth work from Russia and Finland. The purpose of the study visit is to invite actors in the youth field from Russia to visit our Youth centre to get to know our work with coordination of EVS. During the study visit the participants get to know each other for new knowledge, new skills, and the opportunity to build new co-operation patterns. By providing kindergartens, youth houses, rural schools and other youth workers the opportunity to receive international volunteers we help local children and young people to make positive experiences from other cultures, accept diversity and help them to grow to active global citizens. During the study visit, participants will receive information about the activities of the EVS project coordination and information about different practices. The participating organizations strengthen and develop cooperation between them. Their international networks are expanding and this way they get new know-how for future projects.
