With the project “Create Your World,” Association of Estonian open youth centres coordinates 5 international volunteers to 5 different youth centres in Estonia. Keila youth centre will host a Polish volunteer for the period of 1.02.2016-31.01.2017Saku youth centre will host a Lithuanian volunteer for the period of 1.02.2016-31.01.2017Kiisa youth centre in Saku municipality will host a German volunteer for the period of 1.02.2016-31.01.2017Saue youth centre will host a Spanish volunteer for the period of 1.02.2016-31.01.2017Vastseliina youth centre will host a Spanish volunteer for the period of 04.01.2016-31.07.2016Paide youth centre will host a French volunteer for the period of 04.01.2016- 30.06.2016Through this project we aim to contribute to the development of international youth work in Estonian youth centers and increased tolerance towards differences in local communities. Volutneers will acquire and develop diferent creative skills, creative and playful ways will be used in intercultural learning activities and therefore tolerance and openness towards differences will be developed.The volunteers can teach the youth, youth workers and community members in Estonia a lot and therefore help to improve tolerance and mutual understanding between different countries and cultures. Youth centres and local youth and communities will get hands-on experiences of international cooperation and youth work, will become more aware of their opportunities and encouraged to participate in different activities as active citizens.We expect higher readiness of Estonian youth centres to get involved in international youth work. Higher level of tolerance and openness towards differences in local youth and communities. As a result of the project we expect young people getting more active on local, national and international levels.
