This project aims to promote opportunities of exchange and training for young people and youth workers coming from both Italy and South East Europe on a phenomenon of dramatic actuality - not just in Europe, such as youth unemployment. This global phenomenon threatens to undermine the very fabric of our society. According to recent statistics provided by Eurostat, in EU about ¼ of young people is unemployed - 5.6 million , in Italy reaches 20% while in the South Eastern youth unemployment has reached alarming levels as 60-70% in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo, and 50% in Serbia. Through this project we aim to work in partnership with youth organizations from four outlying areas (Trentino , Municipality of Kraljevio - Serbia , Municipality of Prijedor - Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Municipality of Peja / Pec - Kosovo ) to activate a process of exchange and mobility of youth and youth workers, focused on the issue of youth entrepreneurship , inspired in particular by some good practices enabled on the territory of northern Italy , taking into account the specificities of each territory and enhancing existing good practice active on other territories involved . The central figure of the project is the youth worker , the young animator, who will take part in a training course after which he / she will become a point of reference for young people of their area, who are interested in developing their business ideas and to realize them . The goal of the project is therefore to create new employment opportunities and decent quality for young people through the involvement and training of youth workers who can act as a catalyst for new initiatives to youth entrepreneurship on the territories of belonging . The specific objectives that you intend to promote are: - Promote the access of young people into the labor market by introducing innovative approaches and innovative ways of financing (self -employment , cooperative approach ) - Strengthen cooperation between organizations in the youth field . Stimulate the permanent exchange of experiences and good practices of young people and youth workers of the EU and EEA creating a platform for discussion to address the issue of youth employment in EU and EEA countries - Support the recognition of non- formal and informal learning in the field of youth work and the promotion of youth entrepreneurship ; - Strengthen the international dimension of youth activities and the role of youth workers , organizations and support structures for young people under the external action of the EU - To encourage young people to reflect on issues and problems of European importance (such as the situation of youth and employment) and engage in the debate on the construction and the future of the European Union to stimulate their active participation in decision-making and also the European Union the system of representative democracy - To encourage the spirit of initiative , creativity and critical spirit of the young people : at the end of the project, youth will be more aware of their potential to play an active role in the community of reference to help youth initiative and creativity - Increase the pro-active role of young people in civic and economic life of their community , so that they act as multipliers of initiatives of social and economic - Raise awareness of their community on the potential role that can be played by youth initiatives in different field, first of all in the economic and development policies. - To improve the sensitivity and skills of young workers in the search for talent among young people with fewer opportunities , young people who live in situations of exclusion , be it economic origin , geographical , social, cultural or otherwise; The project will involve 65 participants from four different countries – Bosnia-Herzegovina, Italy, Kosovo and Serbia - and will be divided into 3 main activities: - A youth exchange where young people interested in each territory will be involved in a process of encounter , cultural exchange and reflection on various topical issues including youth unemployment; - Dedicated to training youth workers on soft skills and industry-specific skills - a path dedicated to youth workers job shadowing. The project aims to ensure gender balance among participants from the four territories and the involvement of young people from the most marginalized groups in the territories involved .
