The professional high school René Couzinet in Challans forms pupils at the levels IV and V. In 2012, an European section opened in destination of the pupils of vocational high school trade diploma. The international opening is already present in the school because included in the establishment project with several current projects: - The project (ex-comenius) " For Europe: citizens and game ": 2012/2014 - Twinning with the Zappa high school ( Saronno in Italy ) since 2006, which generate many exchanges. Our establishment thus wishes to enrich its teaching staff in DNL and to develop language skills to guarantee the continuity of the apprenticeships and the level validation of the European frame. The European dimension of our school must be improved thanks to the cultural approach and to the creation of partnership in mobility or on-line. That's the reason why the establishment proposes a project of mobility to the teachers holders or in preparation of the certification DNL to develop the necessary skills for the realization of the objectives. Five participants are registered in the project. Two teachers are holders of the DNL whom one fo them in European section. Three teachers are in preparation of the DNL. The training course is organized by the organism SILC, the activities proposed are in adequacy with the needs of the teachers. Here are the proposed modules : - English Courses - Conversation Course - Phonology - Presentation of the educational system with institutional visit - Contribution to the creation of a pedagogical sequence - Vocabulary class management - Creating a project to be presented at the end of the training To complete the project, SILC will arrange transportation, accommodation, courses and so we assess to the level in the CEFR. At the end of this project, our school hopes to: - A local impact through a communication on international openness - Cross teaching progressions to facilitate the work and cohesion of the teaching team - a teaching team abled to develop the European dimension of the institution, - A Development of a real dynamism within the institution through the Erasmus mobility + implemented projects.. Thus participating teachers hope : - to improve language skills, - to realize his personal strengths and weaknesses in English, - to use of educational resources, creating sequences adapted to European culture. At the student level: - To facilitate the learning of the English language by our students through practical illustrations. - To educate students on mobility figures and difficulties. - to promote European opening through the use or production of various supports for students At partnership level: -To allow teachers to compare the current pedagogical methods in the UK - To promote and facilitate this type of mobility. Contacts made during this training course will enable the creation of new partnerships that will benefit our students; teachers sequences in European level will be created (also exchanges through eTwinning) The organization of training course, SILC, will organize activities for teachers so as they obtain a certification at the end of this project.
