Overall objective(s): Support for the development of cross-border ICT based information resources. Regularly informed communities of the border area about the most important in events and news. Specific objective: Institutionalized cooperation between notable local media-actors, enhancing the continuous information-exchange between communities living in the HU-SK-RO-UA programme area. Main activities: Hardware development – (establishing broadband network connection between Nyíregyháza and Uzhgorod). Purchase of necessary ICT equipment (computers and studio equipments). System development – knowledge transfer, harmonization of programme policy, setting up common standards. Content development – securing cross-border information flow. Achievements: Growth of information-flow, and exchange through internet between Project Partners. Monthly issued cross-border Magazine, and a new WEB-site available in the participating countries. Elaborated common standards in programme production. Exchange of 2 news weekly.
