Birds do not recognize political boundaries and their conservation serve as ideal symbol of cross-border co-operations. The project aims to establish a cross-border bird data collection network, and to develop a trilingual on-line database easily accessible on both sides of the border. The results and activities of the project contribute to the conservation of cross-border important bird areas and Nature 2000 sites on the long-term.Target groups beneficiaries of the project are state and non-governmental nature conservation organizations, decision makers, developers, investors, the general public.
