Cooperation and Innovation of Vocational Education

The project´s goal was the realization of long-term cooperation and improving educational conditions. The school in Nagykanizsa transferred its knowledge in the field of renewable energy sources to the school in Cakovec, which transferred back its experience in the field of the production of ceramic objects. The initial target group of the project was the students and teachers of both schools; however, in the long-term, other labor market participants will also become a part of this target group. The school in Nagykanizsa used the funding to furnish the room for ceramic production and installed training equipment for renewable energy sources. The Croatian partner gained practical guidelines for the production of demonstration equipment required for the teaching process. The project included an exchange of programs related to both topics, lectures were held, visits organized and joint projectwork carried out. Achievements: A studio for ceramics and pottery, suitable not only for extracurricular activities, but also for practical training was established and equipped in the teaching workshop for light industry at the vocational school Vilmos Zsigmondy and István Széchenyi. Five teaching manuals on the topic of renewable energy sources were prepared and lectures for the Hungarian and Croatian students were organized. Demo models of various renewable energy sources exploitation plants were prepared and set up in collaboration with the Croatian partner.
