FINISHED
CONTENT'ARTe, Cooperation Through Arts, will be a multilateral youth exchange, taking place in Matosinhos and Monção Portugal. It will gather and challenge young people coming from five different countries in Europe - Portugal, Spain, Germany, Bulgaria and Hungary, to find the way to themselves through artistic expressions, social and multicultural experience. It will be a chance for young people to have the experience of expressing, creating and performing arts as a way to rehearse for life, to create and perform their dreams and social roles. It will give them an unique opportunity to meet their peers, to get valuable artistic training and to create together a common performance, open for local public. It will involve young people with fewer opportunities, mixed with other young people with some artistic skills and orientation. The aim of the project is to reach young people’s interests and to create a platform of sharing youth artistic ways of expression and communicating through art and creative methods to motivate young people towards an active and constructive life.
The participants will be divided into 4 working groups (i.e. Theatre, Dance, Music, and Animation) in order to prepare one common performance, open for local public.
Thanks to everyday workshops led by experienced trainers, participants will have a chance and possibility to gain new knowledge and skills, to express themselves and to work within an international team. Moreover through this project we want to help our participants to overcome problems and obstacles in their lives and to open up for them a new world full of opportunities and possibilities.
Public outdoor activities, sport games, media & photo sessions, directly involving local citizens from the streets and local schools and a final presentation performance, open for local community, organizations, institutions and decision-makers, concerned about education of young people in risk will complete the activity program.
This exchange will be a powerful life changing moment in the life and learning processes of the young participants, and will also promote the visibility of good practices in nonformal education at local, national and international level.
