The aims of the project are to introduce new approaches to teaching English and to implement CLIL. Our colleagues should find new ideas and ways of planning their teaching, motivating students and developing their language competence. Thus the objectives are training by qualified and experienced teacher trainers, getting to know innovative methods of language teaching. In addition, European contacts should be formed and networks established. The emphasis is on developing teaching quality and teaching English in other subjects. And the European context is necessary for providing authentic situations for using the target language. One teacher from our school will be participating in the course. The teacher will then pass on her knowledge to the rest of the staff, thus function as a catalyst for innovating our teaching. We hope that this project will provide new impulses for our English teaching as well as establish personal contacts to people in other European countries.
