This youth exchange "Building bridges - opening new paths" will take place from the 17th to the 24th of octobre 2015 in Trasmulas/Granada with 30 spanish and german young people with fewer opportunities. One part of the spanish group lives in the rural area near to Granada and the other part in the suburbs of Granada, wich allows us, a part from the international exchange, to have an exchange between "different worlds" which are so close to each other. The main topic of the project "Building bridges - opening new paths" has got a double sense: On the one hand we will construct a "bridge", in fact a raft, in order to cross the river Genil and to recover the old path from Trasmulas to Pinos Puente. On the other hand we will build bridges, with the help of a theatre workshop, the videocreation and sports, between the young people from different countries and social contexts, between the group of the youth exchange and the youngsters and neighbours from Trasmulas. With this educational experience we offer new opportunities for personal development and social and educational integration, we promote respect and solidarity between young people from different countries and contexts, fight against rasist and xenophobic tendencies, encourage the youngsters with educational problems to go on studying and we open new perspectives. With the construction of bridges we open new paths!
