The project "BUILDING EUROPE" consists of a multilateral Youth Exchange where groups of four european countries: Germany, Lithuania, France and Spain, that will participate for nine days in a joint programme of activities in Ontinyent (Valencia) and surroundings. The main objective is to promote the mutual understanding between youth of different cultures and to spread european values reinforcing their feeling of being European citizens through the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union. The exchange will take place from 13th to 21st of October. It is expected that 10 participants per partner group with 2 representatives take part. The total number of participants is 48 persons ( 40 youngsters and 8 leaders). The activities try to create a practical awareness the possibility of being builders of Europe, with workshops and discussions that will actively involve the participants and maximize the non-formal learning. We hope the impact of the Youth Exchange will be high. The local communities will get involved in order to be aware of the opportunity the European Community offers us with the support of this kind of projects.
