Registered as a non- profit organization, the French Alliance in Moldova is dedicated to promoting the use of French and appreciation of cultures that share the French language in their common heritage. It is part of the international network . The French Alliance promotes communication between cultures by an exceptional environment: language classes , courses, a photography gallery , media center, as well as various cultural activities such as concerts , plays and exhibitions that work together to create a open cultural exchange . We have experience of EVS since 2009. We have already received six EVS volunteers . More than 100 people work in our association. Our business has developed a lot in recent years . We have more than 6,000 students per year, which allows us to support the variety of cultural activities. The purpose of our association is to attract an increasingly large and diverse audience. Our offer is very diverse courses ( French lessons for children from 4 years, French specialist for professionals from varied backgrounds , individual , interactive courses ) . Our association is also a cultural center that organizes and offers a variety of events: concerts of classical music, jazz or pop music, scientific conferences , art exhibitions, performances , film screenings , debates, etc. General objectives of the project: - Participate in promoting of the activities of French Alliance: cultural activities, courses and examinations in French, English courses and exams as a tool to support the international mobility of young Moldovan - Take part in the implementation of various projects during office: home public research partnerships, making contact with schools, etc.. - Facilitate workshops with teachers from the French Alliance - Ensure the promotion of higher education in connection with the responsible for linguistic task. Regarding the selection of the candidate there is no specific requirement as to the volunteer profile, it must:   - have a basic level of French and English   - to be able to adapt to a new environment - - to be able to work in team - ability to maintain an open mind and take initiatives - to be flexible, creative, honest and involved in the project. Our project meets the criteria of the EVS Charter . The volunteer will be actively involved in the activities of the French Alliance in Moldova. It will acquire various skills such as: develop communication skills , learn to integrate and live in a different environment, learn to combat prejudice and get openness in sharing with others. The project contributes to the process of educating youth international level, developing a sense of European citizenship and remains focused on the problems of the European Union. The volunteer will be supported and guided by the Administrative Manager , the tutor and the project officer and mentor. Weekly meetings will be held to evaluate and analyze the flow of business objectives achieved. Achieving its Youthpass certificate will be provided. There are no specific about the profile of the voluntary requirement in terms of training and degrees, but what is important for this project is that the volunteer can adapt to new environment and be able to work in team and is francophone. We expect the volunteer he knew to be open minded and a strong commitment to this project. This project will contribute to the promotion of voluntary , non - formal education , inclusion of youth in cooperation. Voluntary and other participants in the project will gain a unique personal and professional experience in working together in the European mind. Also , as far as possible the voluntary and members of organizations provide information and supports other organizations , youth associations and youth who want to participate or contribute to the EVS project . Through this project more people will know the EVS service and opportunities that the EU offers young and associations. Also, the project will improve the communication on the activities , projects and objectives of partner organizations and help develop volunteering . With the help of our EVS volunteer , we can inform more people on projects, activities, events and the course of action of the French Alliance. In the future this project will open the opportunity to attract a larger and more diverse public .
