Pursuing co-operation and co-ordination of efforts in the conservation of biological and landscape diversity in the cross border region, this project will:- develop joint solutions to ensure better integration of the conservation needs of landscapes and biodiversity in land management policy and decision-making and ensure better connection between natural habitats;- further develop knowledge and understanding of the natural infrastructure across Kent and Nord - Pas de Calais (N-PdC), helping to meet the aims of the Pan European Ecological Network. Natural infrastructure is understood in this project as consisting of the whole of the natural habitats and their biological connections.
