The ConCert project will develop and introduce a framework for the definition of professional profiles corresponding to new skills and for the certification of formal, informal and non-formal training paths. Project partners will initially undergo three surveys relating to different aspects of skills certification and will further test a range of procedures relating to quality skills certification and evaluation procedures. Primary project results will comprise an operational manual, targeted to those responsible for certification, which will include methodological and evaluation tools and which will consider approaches towards continuous training and lifelong learning. Beneficiaries of the project results include young workers, certification and guidance bodies, training bodies and policy & decision makers. The dissemination of project results will take place throughout the project lifetime and will rely upon a dedicated project website, the publication of a regular project newsletter, the release of a series of research publications and the hosting of project seminars in each participating country.
